SuperList (Shopping List) app good for
A great way to stay organized and to make sure you remember everything when youre grocery shopping.
I like that its simple to customise and really user friendly.
Love that my boyfriend and I can keep up to date with the messaging function.
The only improvement I would like to see is communication with non-iOS world. It would be great to have Windows app that could share lists with my iPhone.
It works ok. I would like it better if the prices were visible on the list because I like to verify the price when I select items.
Awesome app, some of the grocery items need spell check lol :) otherwise very helpful
Some bad moments
Edit: I have now gone to "AnyList" which, aside from being completely free, has a super fast and perfectly accurate syncing service, as well as a great UI.
The app itself is good. However the syncing service, which is imperative if my wife and I are able to use this, is simply too unreliable.
Ive had the app for a couple months, and liked it when it was just me using it. Over the last couple weeks Ive tried the syncing feature. I was quite disappointed to find it buggy and unreliable. Usually it works, but often items repopulate on the list (moments after they were deleted). Changes to the items themselves (editing categories, etc) often results in duplicate items on one decide, and deleted items on the other device. Its a shame the syncing werent better implemented.
Because we need to have a functional list that reliably syncs between our devices, we have now deleted Superlist and have gone back to ShopShop which, while not as nice to look at, syncs flawlessly every time.
Thanks for ruining this app...Im on to something else...way too frustrating to use know
Latest upgrade breaks the app crashes when I try to start it !!!
I hesitated to update to a new version... And not for nothing! I hate the new design! Its very plain and looks cheap and boring! Im thinking of deleting the app :(((
I have really enjoyed this app. You can modify the aisles - I have them set to match my grocery store. The icons for the aisles are fun. Once you have items in your master list, you just poke them to put them on your shopping list - not all shopping lists allow access back to the master list. The customer service is really amazing - they respond sometimes within minutes, hours at the slowest, and have always given me a helpful answer to my query. There are a few features I wish this app had: the ability to rotate, so it isnt sideways when I use my horizontal iPad stand, items checked off the list would disappear from the list (you can go to another screen and ask for these to be removed, but thats a few extra steps), and purple as a color option for the list.
I would rate this app 10 stars if I could. This is one of the best app purchases Ive ever made. I am an organized person and use this app every day. Im able to create shopping lists for my frequently visited stores. I love the fact that I can add new items and categories and store them for easy future use. Its super easy to customize each shopping cart item and add as little or as many details as you wish. Having the ability to snap and save a photo of each item is a nice feature. I wish the developer created a to-do list app or other productivity apps. I would buy them in a heart beat!!!
